Solid Sterling silver, individually casted and hand forged to finish.  The Mask is set with a Copper setting and 20 pt Cultured Diamond, weighs 76.44 grams of silver.

things, intuits things, knows things that others do not know

She feels with her heart, and love guides her, she is guided by

Creator which embodies her with boundless energy and kindness

She is connected to her source and acts with integrity, and gentle force

so that she can be instrumental in her children’s life

In her community’s life, in the life of mankind

She does not see with her eyes

She speaks with her mouth which has been silenced

She speaks the truth and the truth she speaks protects her children

Her community, her nation

She is an extension of mother earth, a co-creator of the universe

She is: The “Seer”

In our Haida culture we are a Matrilineal society which means we get our clans from our mothers. We are also a Matriarchal society which means the Matriarchs, knew important things about our people and hunting grounds, that other people do not know and that they made the final decision in government.

We lived in a perfect balance with Mother Earth and our government was made up of the Matriarchs and hereditary chiefs, a divine balance of wisdom and power.

This piece is a tribute to our Matriarchs who have lost their power because of colonialism.  We intend to take it back.
