This first symbol is of the U shape signifies not just U, you but I ‘am. The Divine I ‘am is the important saying in our vocabulary!
The meaning for this when given is “U Are” and “I am” so we are ONE, we cannot be separate.
These earrings can be worn separately, so choosing another set or special ordering two different ones may mean I ‘am “Passion” for instance – or “Integrity” and so on, so they can be worn as a statement of the commitment to oneself.

Haida Luv Lineguage was designed by Gina Mae Schubert a contemporary Haida artist from her ancestral homeland of Old Massett Village, B. C. Haida Gwaii.
They were developed in the spirit of the “Haida Gifting Economy” and the ancient Haida Language.
